Communicate Tinubu’s achievements to the people, APC chieftain tells governors

An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Sani Zangina, has called on state governors to actively communicate the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration to Nigerians.

Zangina, who is the National Chairman of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu Continuity 2027, made the appeal in a statement issued to mark the President’s 74th birthday. He described Tinubu as a courageous and reform-driven leader committed to the country’s development.

According to him, many of the administration’s policies and achievements are not being adequately communicated to the public, creating a gap between government efforts and public perception. He urged governors and party stakeholders to take a more proactive role in engaging citizens and explaining ongoing reforms and development initiatives.

Zangina emphasised that effective communication is essential for building public trust and ensuring that Nigerians understand the objectives and long-term benefits of government policies.

He also encouraged party members at all levels to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and remain united in supporting the administration’s programmes.

Political observers say the call reflects increasing focus on public engagement and narrative shaping as political actors begin positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
