Tinubu mourns Borno blast victims, vows to crush terrorists

President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the recent bomb blast in Borno State that claimed several lives and left others injured, assuring Nigerians that his administration will intensify efforts to defeat insurgent groups operating in the region.
In a statement released through the Presidency, the President extended condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Borno State, describing the attack as a tragic reminder of the security challenges confronting parts of the country.
Tinubu reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening security operations in the North-East, noting that ongoing military campaigns would be reinforced to dismantle terrorist networks and restore lasting peace. He commended security personnel for their sacrifices in the fight against insurgency and urged them to remain resolute in protecting lives and property.
The President also directed relevant emergency and humanitarian agencies to provide immediate support to affected communities, including medical assistance for the injured and relief materials for displaced families.
He called on citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by sharing credible information that could help prevent future attacks. According to him, collective efforts are essential in overcoming threats posed by violent extremist groups.
Tinubu further assured Nigerians that the government would continue to invest in intelligence gathering, modern equipment and community-based security strategies as part of broader measures to improve safety and stability across the country.
