My Support for Tinubu Is Total, Says Wike Amid Rift With APC National Secretary

Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has reaffirmed his total and unwavering support for President Bola Tinubu amid an ongoing rift with the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Tuesday, Wike—who has been touring several local government areas in Rivers State—declared that his political movement remains firmly aligned with President Tinubu’s administration.

The former Rivers State governor announced that his next stops include Akuku-Toru and Degema local government areas, stressing that both communities are fully in support of Tinubu.

Wike’s declaration comes against the backdrop of reported disagreements involving the APC national secretary, fueling speculation about internal party tensions. Despite this, the FCT minister maintained that his loyalty to President Tinubu is “total” and unchanged.
