Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has reportedly shattered touring records with his I Told Them… world tour, emerging as the highest-grossing concert tour ever by an African artiste.
Data released Monday by analytics platform Tourist Data shows the global trek pulled in $30.5 million from 302,801 tickets sold across 22 shows.
In a post announcing the milestone, the platform stated:
“@burnaboy’s I Told Them… is officially the highest-grossing tour by any Afrobeat artist in history, with $30.5 million from 302,801 tickets sold in 22 shows.”
A standout moment came at London Stadium on June 29, 2024, where Burna Boy set a dual record, further cementing his place at the top of global Afrobeats.
