Police Arrest Suspects, Recover Four Stolen Vehicles in FCT

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested several suspects and recovered four stolen vehicles in separate operations.
According to Police PRO SP Josephine Adeh, one case involved Mrs. Okanemhen, who reported on July 23 that her driver, Abubakar Nuhu from Bauchi State, had absconded with her trailer (Reg. No. GWA 40 XC) after delivering cement in Kogi State.
Nuhu allegedly removed three tracking devices from the trailer but failed to find a fourth hidden tracker, which led police to recover the vehicle in Kaduna State, where he was arrested. Police say the vehicle’s identifying marks had been painted over to avoid detection.
Authorities described the arrests as part of ongoing efforts to curb vehicle theft in the FCT.
