Senator Adeola Donates 102 Transformers to 435 Ogun Communities

The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation and Senator representing Ogun West, Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has donated 102 transformers to 435 Community Development Areas across Ogun State to mark his 56th birthday.
The transformers, with capacities ranging from 500kVA/33, 500kVA/11, 300kVA/33 to 300kVA/11, were allocated based on the specific needs of beneficiary communities. The project also included support for their energisation.
Seventeen local government areas benefited from the gesture, including Yewa North, Ado Odo-Ota, Yewa South, Abeokuta North, Ifo, Obafemi Owode, Ewekoro, Sagamu, Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu, Ipokia, Ijebu North East, Ikenne, Ijebu East, Remo North, Abeokuta South, and Ijebu North.
Speaking during the presentation at Asade Agunloye Pavilion, Ilaro, Adeola said the initiative was in line with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda to improve electricity supply nationwide.
“My office receives numerous requests for transformers. It is always a joy to bring light to homes and businesses through the provision and energisation of transformers,” he said in a statement by his media aide, Kayode Odunaro.
