Former Agriculture Minister Audu Ogbeh Dies at 78

Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and ex-National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Audu Ogbeh, has passed away at the age of 78.

According to a statement from his family, Ogbeh died peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

โ€œIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather,โ€ the family said. โ€œHe lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind a legacy of integrity, service, and dedication to the nation and his community. We are comforted by the many lives he touched and the example he set.โ€

The family added that details of the funeral arrangements will be made public in due course and requested privacy during the mourning period.
