Atiku-Obi Alliance No Threat to Tinubu in 2027 – FG
The Federal Government has dismissed the possibility that a political merger between former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi could unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, speaking on a political affairs show, called the alliance an “expired tactic” and likened it to “419 politics.” He criticised opposition strategies as outdated and accused an unnamed rival of flaunting wealth while claiming to represent the poor.
Keyamo insisted the ruling party is well-prepared and familiar with its opponents’ methods, stressing that Nigerians won’t be deceived by old political tricks.
