Barcelona Nears Title Glory After Thrilling 4-3 Win Over Real Madrid

Barcelona is on the brink of securing the LaLiga title following a pulsating 4-3 victory over arch-rivals Real Madrid on Sunday.

Real Madrid took an early two-goal lead courtesy of a brilliant brace from Kylian Mbappe. However, Barcelona roared back before halftime, netting four goals in an electrifying comeback.

Raphinha led the charge with two goals, while Eric Garcia and teenage sensation Lamine Yamal also found the back of the net. Mbappe completed his hat-trick with a late goal, taking his tally to 39 in all competitions — a club record for a debut season at Madrid.

The match wasn’t without controversy, as Fermin Lopez saw his goal disallowed for handball during a tense finale.

The win propels Barcelona seven points clear at the top of the table with just three matches remaining. Having already defeated Real Madrid in La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa del Rey this season, Barça has equalled their record from the 1982-83 season with four El Clasico wins in a single campaign.

Barcelona can clinch the LaLiga crown with a victory over city rivals Espanyol on Thursday, or if Real Madrid fails to win against Mallorca on Wednesday.
