Saudi Arabian Pro League clubs are locked in a fierce battle to sign Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen this summer, with at least two prominent teams already initiating discussions with the player’s representatives.

According to Italian transfer football expert, Nicolo Schira, the Saudi clubs have indicated their willingness to trigger the €75 million release clause in Osimhen’s contract with Napoli.

Despite the lucrative interest from the Middle East, the Nigeria international has made his priorities clear, expressing his desire to play in the Premier League, with Manchester United reportedly his preferred destination.

The 26-year-old striker has also attracted interest from other Premier League sides including Arsenal and Chelsea, while Juventus previously attempted to secure his signature for the 2025/26 season.

During negotiations with Juventus, Osimhen acknowledged their interest but reiterated that his ultimate dream is to join a Premier League club.

The in-demand forward is currently enjoying a remarkable season on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray, where he has contributed 33 goals (28 goals and five assists) in 32 appearances across all competitions.
Osimhen further enhanced his reputation on Wednesday when he scored a brace against Istanbul rivals Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Cup quarter-final, helping Galatasaray secure a 2-1 victory at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.

Following that performance, the Nigerian striker expressed his commitment to helping Galatasaray achieve success this season.

“I will make Galatasaray win the cup and get the fifth star. I have set my mind on it, and I can’t take it off,” Osimhen said via GalaSport.

Osimhen landed in Nigeria on Friday on a private jet after being granted a four-day leave by Galatasaray following his match-winning performance. He is expected to return to Istanbul on Sunday.

The striker joined Galatasaray on loan at the start of the season after a failed move to Saudi Arabia and falling out with the hierarchy at Napoli. He also rejected a move to Chelsea over personal terms but has since put his summer troubles behind him.
