DSS Raid: Igboho Denies Turning Into Cat To Escape Arrest
Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Igboho has revealed that he didn’t turn into a cat to escape during the invasion of his residence by the Department of State Services (DSS) in July 2021.
There were rumours that Ighobo escaped by turning into a cat when the security agency invaded his home following his call for the Yoruba Nation.
During the raid, some of his cats were killed while others were taken away.
In a recent interview, Igboho addressed the incident saying: “It’s true that some cats were killed during the attack, the DSS just kept firing bullets everywhere. I had many cats as pets, and any movement attracted their gunfire.

“Their mission was clear: either kill me or arrest me and take me to some unknown location.
“But God is greater than anyone, including the former president. My God and providence put them to shame with that illegal raid.
“They failed to achieve what they came for. I didn’t turn into a cat to escape.”
Igboho added that he does not know whether the DSS brought three herbalists during the raid.
