Isreal DMW Pens Heartfelt Note To Davido As He Marks 31st Birthday

It is the birthday of award-winning Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido and his personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW has penned a note to him.

Taking to his Instagram page, he wished his boss a happy birthday as he prayed for God to bless his new age.

 

“Happy Birthday King. Bless your new age sir”.

Taking to his comment section, many joined him in celebrating the Grammy nominee.

Davido has several reasons to be grateful for this year, which came with several blessings.

 

The singer, made his comeback to the music industry after taking a break following his son’s death, with the release of his album, Timelines which now has over a billion streams.

 

His new album has brought the singer more recognition and has made him a Grammy nominee.

Benco news reported that Timeless bagged 3 nominations for Best Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Global Music Album at the 2024 Grammy.

Speaking on his nomination, Davido affirmed that delay isn’t denial, especially since his contemporaries, Burna Boy and Wizkid have been recognized by the academy.

 

Also, a day in the US has been dedicated to him, after he shut down the city of Texas, Houston with his soldout concert.

 

The Mayor of Houston had declared every July 7 ‘Davido’s Day’, as he commended him for his significant contributions to the music industry.

 

The Federal Government had also conferred him with a national honor award, Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).

Topping it off, is the birth of his twins with wife, Chioma Rowland Adeleke. The couple welcomed another bundle of joy after losing their son, Ifeanyi in October, the same birth month as Ifeanyi.

 

Davido first fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in his song titled ‘In The Garden’, which features Morravey. The singer had also tweeted that the week of his twins’ birth would be his best so far.

 

The news was finally confirmed after a video of Davido and Chioma with their twins leaving the hospital surfaced online.

Making his first statement on his twins’ birth, the music star, during an interview, revealed how he and Chioma found out about the news, which left them shaking.
