The committeeโs secretary, Bekisu Oshone, confirmed the invitation in a statement issued on Thursday, noting that Obaseki and other key stakeholders must appear for the public hearing.
Those also summoned include former Commissioner for Finance, Joseph Eboigbe; former Attorney General, Oluwole Osaze-Uzzi; MOWAA Director, Philip Iheanacho; and the Managing Director of Tilbury House Nigeria Limited.
Others are the Project Manager of Hospitality Investment and Management Company, Pramod Thorat; Managing Director of Afrinvest Capital Limited, Ugochukwu Anigbogu; the Managing Director of Meristem Trustees Limited; and the Managing Director of Emerging Africa Trustees Limited.
According to Oshone, their appearance is critical to clarifying issues surrounding the financing structure of the Radisson Hotel project and the overall execution of both developments.
The Museum of West African Art and the Radisson Hotel were initiated under Obasekiโs administration. While MOWAAโs first phase has been completed, construction on the hotel is nearing its final stage.
