DAFINONE: TINUBU HAS ACHIEVED MORE THAN PREDECESSORS IN 16 YEARS

Senator Ede Dafinone has praised President Bola Tinubu’s administration, claiming it has achieved more for Nigeria than previous administrations over a 16-year period.
Dafinone’s remarks reflect his assessment of the Tinubu government’s performance and its approach to addressing the country’s economic and developmental challenges.
The statement comes amid ongoing national debate over the impact of the administration’s policies, particularly on the economy, infrastructure, revenue generation and the cost of living.
Since taking office in May 2023, Tinubu’s government has introduced major economic reforms, including the removal of the petrol subsidy and changes to foreign exchange management. These policies have generated debate over their long-term benefits and immediate effects on households and businesses.
While supporters point to the administration’s reforms as necessary steps towards economic restructuring, critics have raised concerns about rising living costs and the pressure on Nigerians.
Dafinone’s comparison remains his own assessment of the administration’s record. A comprehensive evaluation would require examining specific achievements, economic indicators and outcomes across the different administrations.
