Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has pledged to pursue shared prosperity for the state following his inauguration for a second term in office.

Oyebanji said his administration would focus on improving the welfare of residents and expanding economic opportunities across Ekiti State.

The governor’s second-term agenda is expected to build on infrastructure development while placing greater emphasis on industrialisation, small business growth and job creation.

He has also identified economic development and support for local enterprises as key priorities, with the aim of creating opportunities for residents and strengthening the state’s economy.

The pledge comes as expectations rise over how the administration will translate its promises into tangible improvements in living standards, employment and business activity.

Oyebanji’s second term will be closely watched by residents as they look for progress in infrastructure, economic opportunities and access to essential services.
