Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has said his administration will use investments in infrastructure to drive industrial growth, increase productivity and strengthen the state’s economy.
Oyebanji said improved infrastructure would create a more favourable environment for businesses, attract investors and support the expansion of industries across the state.
The governor’s plan focuses on the role of essential infrastructure in economic development, particularly in improving business operations and creating employment opportunities for residents.
He noted that industrial growth could help expand economic activities, improve local production and generate additional revenue for the state.
The initiative comes amid efforts by state governments to attract private investment and create conditions that support sustainable economic growth.
The success of the strategy will depend on the implementation of infrastructure projects, investor participation and the ability of businesses to translate improved facilities into increased production and jobs.
