TÜRKIYE COMMISERATES WITH NIGERIA OVER MILITARY PLANE CRASH

The Government of Türkiye has expressed condolences to Nigeria following the deadly military aircraft crash in Ondo State.
Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it was deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the crash and extended condolences to the families of those who died, as well as the people of Nigeria.
The Nigerian Air Force aircraft crashed on Monday, October 5, in the Igbokoda area of Ondo State while reportedly on a routine mission from Benin to Lagos.
The crash prompted an immediate search and rescue operation, with the wreckage later located near a naval base.
President Bola Tinubu has declared three days of national mourning for the Air Force personnel who died in the crash and ordered an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
Türkiye’s condolence message comes as Nigeria mourns the military personnel who lost their lives in the incident.
