WE WILL NOT BOW TO INTIMIDATION, ADELEKE VOWS

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has declared that he and his supporters will not succumb to intimidation ahead of the August 15 governorship election, expressing confidence in the people’s support and the democratic process.
Adeleke said no amount of political pressure or harassment would deter his administration from remaining focused on serving the people of Osun State and defending its mandate.
The governor called on residents to come out peacefully and exercise their constitutional right to vote, assuring them that every legitimate vote should count in the election.
He urged security agencies to remain professional, impartial, and committed to maintaining law and order before, during, and after the polls.
According to Adeleke, political parties and their supporters should conduct their campaigns peacefully and avoid actions capable of undermining the credibility of the electoral process.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to democratic principles, good governance, and the continued delivery of projects and programmes aimed at improving the lives of the people.
The governor expressed optimism that the election would be free, fair, and peaceful, urging all stakeholders to place the interest of Osun State above political differences and work together to safeguard democracy.
