INIESTA URGES BARCA TO SIGN OSIMHEN
Barcelona legend Andrés Iniesta has urged his former club to consider signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as a long-term replacement for veteran forward Robert Lewandowski.
Iniesta described Osimhen as one of the best strikers in world football, praising his pace, strength, aerial ability, finishing, and relentless work rate.
According to the former Spain international, the Super Eagles star possesses the qualities needed to thrive at Barcelona and lead the club’s attack for many years.
He noted that with Lewandowski approaching the latter stages of his career, Barcelona should begin planning for the future by investing in a proven goalscorer capable of making an immediate impact.
Iniesta also highlighted Osimhen’s consistent performances at club and international level, saying the Nigerian has shown he can deliver goals in high-pressure matches and adapt to different styles of play.
The Barcelona icon expressed confidence that Osimhen’s style of football would suit the club’s attacking philosophy, adding that his hunger, determination, and winning mentality make him an ideal addition to the squad.
While no official move has been confirmed, Osimhen continues to be linked with several top European clubs as one of the most sought-after strikers ahead of the new season.
