Constitution Review: Kalu Urges Nigerians to Demand Accountability and Transparency

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has called on Nigerians to take full advantage of the ongoing constitution review process by actively demanding accountability and transparency from the 10th National Assembly.

Speaking on Saturday during the Constitution Review Public Hearing in Owerri, covering Imo and Abia States, Kalu emphasized the critical role of citizens’ participation in shaping the nation’s constitutional reforms.

Kalu, who chairs the House Committee on Constitution Review, stressed that the review is a continuous process, not a one-time event. He urged Nigerians to remain actively engaged to ensure the changes reflect the will and aspirations of the people.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Levinus Nwabughiogu, Kalu said:
