Former President Muhammadu Buhari is dead

Former President Muhammadu Buhari has passed away.
The news was confirmed by his former aide, Bashir Ahmad, and his spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
Garba Shehu, in a brief statement, said:
> “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin.”
During his presidency from 2015 to 2023, Buhari made at least 13 known medical trips to the United Kingdom, often sparking concerns over his health.
Some notable periods included:
February 2016: A 6-day “medical vacation.”
June 2016: Treatment for a persistent ear infection.
2017: Several months abroad for medical treatment, leading to speculation and conspiracy theories.
January–March 2018: About 50 days in London, after which he remarked, “I’ve never been so sick in my life.”
