Look Forward To Brighter Future Under Tinubu’s Administration – Gov Abiodun Tells Christians
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has urged Christians in the state and across Nigeria to remain hopeful and look forward to a brighter future under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The governor made this known in his Easter message issued in Abeokuta on Sunday, where he congratulated Christians for successfully completing the 40-day Lenten season and urged them to reflect on the essence of the Easter celebration.
“As we celebrate Easter, a time-honored tradition that symbolizes renewal and hope, let us reflect on the profound lessons this holiday imparts,” Abiodun stated.
“Easter, observed by millions, transcends its religious significance, offering valuable insights into the themes of love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.”
He acknowledged the sacrifices made by Christian faithful during the Lenten season, especially at a time when the nation is grappling with economic and social challenges.
“I commend Christians for their spiritual devotion during the Lenten period marked by fasting, prayer, and acts of charity. These efforts will, no doubt, help in transforming our nation spiritually and morally,” he said.
Governor Abiodun stressed that Nigerians should draw strength from the resurrection of Jesus Christ and remain steadfast in prayer for the nation
“Just like Christ prevailed over adversity, we too must believe in the triumph of good over evil. I urge you not to allow evil-minded individuals with diversionary tactics to distract or divide us. Rather, let us unite and continue praying for the government and one another,” he said.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to development in Ogun State, while also expressing confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership to deliver better days for the country.
“We must all look forward to a brighter future under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. His administration is focused on laying a solid foundation for long-term growth, and I encourage everyone to support these efforts with patience and faith,” the governor added.
Highlighting the values of the season, Governor Abiodun said, “Easter teaches us the significance of resilience and the promise of transformation. It invites us to reconnect with our values and extend kindness to one another.”
He assured residents that his government will continue to pursue developmental projects that uplift the people and improve their standard of living.
“On our part, we will continue our developmental trajectory, which has put our state on a firm pedestal of progress. We are committed to providing the best for our people,” he concluded.
