Nigerians Blast Amuneke As He Tips Salah To Win CAF Player Of The Year Ahead Of Osimhen
There have been angry reactions by Nigerian fans, over comments made by former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke, over the 2023 CAF Player of the Year.
Amuneke, in a short clip that has gone viral, has tipped Mohamed Salah to win the prize ahead of Osimhen.
The two forwards make up the final shortlist along with PSG’s Achraf Hakimi.
Amuneke’s remarks has led to supporters calling on the NFF to never consider him as coach of the national team.

@SKparevfa16: This is the person Nigerian journalists advocate to be the coach of SE. Patriotism aside, by all standards Sallah was nowhere near Osimhen last season, 8th best player in the world, Mahrez should have even been ahead of Sallah. No local coach is good for the SE presently.
