Twenty-five-year-old Makhosazane Khosi Twala (Khosi) yesterday became the winner of the first season of the Big Brother Titan reality television show after 78 days of intense competition.

The South African housemate and journalist polled the highest votes to defeat five other housemates who made it to the grand finale. Kanaga Jr. was the runner-up.

Khosi was announced winner after living in the BBTitans house in the Randburg area of Johannesburg with 25 other housemates who made the first season of the Big Brother franchise.

The winner first made an impact on the house a week after the show began on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

One of her highlights on the show was her relationship with Nigeria’s Yemi Cregz as well as with a fellow South African housemate, Thabang.

Khosi, an Instagram model and fitness buff, is originally from Newcastle, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa, and has lived in different parts of the country before settling down in Johannesburg.

The show hosts, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Lawrence Maleka, had earlier announced the eviction of Ipeleng, Ebubu, Yvonne and Tsatsii from the Big Brother House.

The last six housemates were: Ipeleng, Ebubu, Kanaga Jr., Tsatsii, Yvonne, and Khosi.

Ipeleng was the 19th evicted housemate, while Ebubu was the 20th housemate to leave the house. Minutes after the two of the six finalists’ eviction, Yvonne and Tsatsii became the 21st and 22nd evictees.

Khosi and Kanaga Jr. walked out of the house to the stage with Ebuka after switching off the power in the house ahead of announcing the winner of the show.

According to the organisers, Khosi will get $100,000 total grand prize.

The BBTitans Zikahala Wahala season ended with thrilling performances by Mayorkun, as well as Maphorisa.
