𝐎𝐲𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐍𝟑𝟖.𝟕𝐛𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝟑𝟎𝐤𝐦 𝐈𝐠𝐛𝐨𝐡𝐨–𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝

The Oyo State Executive Council has approved the reconstruction of the 30-kilometre Igboho–Kishi Road in Oorelope Local Government Area, valued at ₦38.7 billion.

Commissioner for Public Works, Infrastructure and Transport, Professor Daud Sangodoyin, disclosed this after the council’s meeting at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, on Thursday.

He explained that the project, which will be executed through the Alternative Project Funding Approach (APFA), is aimed at boosting economic activities and easing transportation in the Oke-Ogun region.

Sangodoyin added that the contractor has been mobilised to commence work immediately, with completion expected within 18 months.

The commissioner also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring infrastructural development reaches every zone of the state, in line with Governor Seyi Makinde’s roadmap for sustainable development.
