The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has commended the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State for his efforts in combating crime and improving security across the state.

The committee praised the Ondo State Police Command for what it described as remarkable achievements in tackling criminal activities, including fraud, kidnapping and other forms of insecurity affecting residents.

In a statement released after a meeting with police authorities, the PCRC noted that the proactive strategies adopted by the command had significantly contributed to the reduction of criminal activities in several parts of the state.

According to the committee, the police have intensified intelligence gathering, strengthened collaboration with local communities and increased patrol operations to improve safety and restore public confidence.

The PCRC also acknowledged the dedication and professionalism displayed by officers of the command while carrying out their duties in difficult circumstances.

The committee encouraged the police to sustain the current momentum and continue working closely with communities to prevent crime and maintain peace in Ondo State.

It further urged residents to support security agencies by providing useful information that could help prevent criminal activities and improve security across the state.

The PCRC reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening cooperation between the police and the public, describing community partnership as a key factor in achieving lasting security.
