Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has expressed gratitude to the people of the state for re-electing him, pledging to continue working tirelessly for their progress.

Speaking on Sunday at his country home in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, shortly after being declared the winner of the November 8 governorship election, Soludo said it was time to resume work immediately.

โ€œNow that the people have spoken, let us get back to work,โ€ he said. โ€œEven last night, as the collation was going on, I was making calls to the Commissioner for Budget, discussing outlines for the next fiscal plan. I am back in the office โ€” itโ€™s a 24/7 assignment, and โ€˜Ndiโ€™ Anambra cannot wait.โ€

He emphasized that there was still much to be done, describing governance as โ€œan assignment with a deadline.โ€

โ€œMay Anambra continue to win, may Nigeria continue to win,โ€ Soludo added, while extending a hand of cooperation to his opponents and assuring residents of his commitment to serve them better.
