The federal government is making concerted efforts to ensure that Nigerians have access to a stable and adequate power supply, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has stated.

Speaking on Friday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, during the maiden retreat of the NISO management in 2025, Adelabu said the current administration has introduced significant changes in the power sector. โ€œSince the commencement of the administration, things have been operating differently,โ€ he said, without giving specific details.

He added that the government is committed to addressing long-standing challenges in electricity generation and distribution, aiming to improve efficiency and reliability for both households and businesses across the country.

The ministerโ€™s remarks come amid ongoing efforts to expand power infrastructure and implement policies that attract investment into the sector.
