The Association of Christian Correspondents of Nigeria has announced its 2025 End-of-Year Forum, set to hold on November 21 at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ikeja, Lagos.
The President of ACCoN, Adeola Ogunlade, said the forum aims to create a reflective and strategic platform where faith-based journalists, policymakers, and church leaders can discuss how Christian pilgrimage contributes to Nigeriaโs spiritual and socioeconomic development.
He said the event, themed โSocioeconomic Benefits of Pilgrimage to the Nigerian State,โ will gather policymakers, church leaders, Christian communicators, and media practitioners from across the country.
Ogunlade revealed that Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, is expected to attend as the Special Guest of Honour.
He added that the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, will deliver the keynote address, while the President of the Christian Tourism Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Rev. Israel Kristilere, will serve as Guest Speaker.
According to Ogunlade, pilgrimage offers not only spiritual value but also opportunities to boost tourism, enhance interfaith harmony, and promote national values such as integrity and patriotism.
The forum will also include interactive sessions, networking opportunities, and recognition of distinguished Christian leaders and institutions that have supported faith-based communication and national development.
