Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar has called on Nigerian youths to rise above frustration and take an active role in shaping the countryโs future.
He said young people must not give up hope or remain passive observers at a time when Nigeria needs their energy, ideas, and courage.
Abubakar made the appeal on Monday while delivering a keynote address at the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the death of Shehu Musa YarโAdua, the former chief of staff and a respected pro-democracy figure. He described the late YarโAdua as a symbol of sacrifice, unity, and national purposeโqualities he believes young Nigerians must emulate.
He stressed that the nationโs challenges require dialogue, understanding, and collective resolve, urging youths to help rebuild trust, strengthen democracy, and work toward a more united Nigeria.
