Yahaya Bello Denies 2027 Presidential Ambition, Backs Tinubu

Former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has firmly denied any intention to contest against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

In a statement issued by Ohiare Michael, Director of the Yahaya Bello Media Office, Bello discredited a campaign poster circulating online, labeling it as โ€œfalse, misleading, and the handiwork of mischief makers.โ€

The statement slammed those behind the poster for attempting to create tension between Bello and Tinubu, calling the act part of a continuous effort to bring Bello down.

Bello reaffirmed his loyalty to President Tinubu and declared his full support for Tinubuโ€™s re-election in 2027
