The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has questioned President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), asking why a party with control of more than 30 states would feel threatened by opposition forces.
In a statement, the opposition party argued that the APC’s dominant political presence across the country should ordinarily translate into confidence rather than apprehension ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The ADC suggested that recent political moves and rhetoric from the ruling party indicate underlying concerns about public sentiment and growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians.
According to the party, true political strength should be reflected in governance performance and public trust, not in attempts to undermine or intimidate opposition groups.
