Tinubu, Governors Reward Super Falcons with N4.95bn, National Honours & Houses

President Bola Tinubu and the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) have rewarded the Super Falcons with a total of ₦4.95 billion, national honours, and three-bedroom apartments, following their 10th WAFCON victory in Morocco.

Breakdown:

₦4.602 billion from the Federal Government.

₦350 million from the Governors’ Forum.

National Honour: Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON) to all 24 players and 11 technical crew.

Housing: Each player and crew member to receive a 3-bedroom flat in the Renewed Hope Estate.

The Falcons landed in Abuja on Monday and were hosted at a reception in the Presidential Villa, where President Tinubu fulfilled his promise of a grand welcome.
