Tinubu Appoints Ismael Ahmed as Chairman of Presidential CNG Initiative

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Barrister Ismael Ahmed as the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi).
According to a statement by presidential media aide Bayo Onanuga, Ahmed will oversee the initiative, which aims to ease the impact of fuel subsidy removal by providing cheaper, cleaner, and more affordable energy alternatives.
The PCNGi is part of the administration’s broader palliative intervention programme.
