Thank God for Dangote Refinery” – Ojulari Tells Nigerians
The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Ojulari, has described the Dangote Refinery as a major lifeline for Nigeria’s energy sector.
According to him, the refinery has helped stabilise fuel supply across the country, providing much-needed breathing space amid ongoing challenges in the downstream oil sector. He noted that the facility’s operations are critical to reducing fuel scarcity, easing pressure on foreign exchange, and strengthening Nigeria’s long-term energy security.
Ojulari added that local refining remains the most sustainable solution to Nigeria’s fuel supply problems, stressing that the Dangote Refinery represents a turning point in the nation’s quest for self-sufficiency in petroleum products.
