The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate in the last presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has finally broke silence after the Supreme dismissed his appeal last week challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to him, history would vindicate his moves to truncate Tinubu’s victory.

Atiku stated this on Monday during an international press conference in Abuja while reacting to the verdict of the Supreme Court, which upheld the election of President Tinubu.

He claimed that the Supreme Court ignored the cries and pains of Nigerians by dismissing his appeal.

“If the Supreme Court, which is the highest court in Nigeria, can ignore the cry of Nigerians despite evidence, then Nigeria has lost it, and the country is doomed.

“I am sure that history will vindicate me. The bigger loss is not mine but Nigerians”.
