Supreme Court Betrayed Me – PDP’s Ighodalo Reacts to Judgment
Ighodalo, a candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming Edo State governorship election, has expressed disappointment over the recent ruling by the Supreme Court.
Speaking shortly after the judgment, Ighodalo described the court’s decision as a betrayal, arguing that it failed to uphold justice in the party’s internal dispute.
He explained that he had hoped the court would intervene to correct what he believed to be irregularities during the party’s primary election. Despite his disappointment, Ighodalo urged his supporters to remain calm and united, promising to continue working towards victory in the election.
The Supreme Court ruling effectively ended his legal challenge, affirming the primary election outcome and clearing the path for the officially recognized PDP candidate to contest in the forthcoming poll.
