SUPER EAGLES COACH CHELLE ARRIVES IN EGYPT TO BACK FLYING EAGLES

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, is set to arrive in Cairo, Egypt, to show his support for the Flying Eagles at the ongoing 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Chelle is expected to join the team at their Radisson Blu Hotel base on Monday, according to Flying Eagles media officer Shariff Abdallah.

While in Egypt, Chelle will also assess the performance of the players as he prepares to finalize his squad for the upcoming Unity Cup invitational tournament scheduled to hold in London later this month.

The Flying Eagles have had a solid start to the tournament, securing one win and one draw in their first two group matches.

Led by head coach Aliyu Zubairu, the seven-time champions will face the Rising Stars of Kenya in their final group game at the June 30 Stadium in Cairo on Wednesday. A draw in that fixture will be enough to send Nigeria into the quarter-finals of the competition.
