Sowore Alleges 2027 Election Results Already Decided

Nigerian activist and politician, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that the outcome of the 2027 presidential election has already been predetermined by those in power.

In an interview with Vanguard, Sowore declared that the results for the 2027 polls are “already written,” expressing a lack of faith in the current electoral system.

“I don’t believe in the current ballot system,” he said. “The 2027 results are already written. Only a rebellion against the system can bring real change.”

Despite his doubts about the electoral process, Sowore confirmed he will still contest the presidency. “I never stopped running,” he said. “Whether it’s a campaign, a protest, or a court battle—I’m always running for something.”

Sowore also took aim at the current administration, criticizing President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. He stated that Nigerians made a “grave mistake” electing Tinubu, claiming that his government has caused severe damage to the country.

“When Tinubu is done, Nigerians will beg to return to Buhari’s era,” Sowore warned. “He has crippled institutions, education, and democracy. Buhari damaged Nigeria in eight years; Tinubu, in just two years, is burying it.”

Sowore’s remarks reflect growing discontent among some Nigerians regarding the state of governance and the credibility of future elections.
