Businessman and socialite, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has expressed optimism that the second term of Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Soludo, will bring accelerated development to the state.

Speaking while reacting to the governor’s swearing-in for another tenure, Obi Cubana commended Soludo’s leadership style and policy direction, describing his administration as purposeful and focused on long-term growth.

He noted that continuity in governance would enable the state government to consolidate ongoing projects and introduce new initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, investment opportunities and youth empowerment.

According to him, sustained leadership and strategic planning are critical to unlocking the economic potential of Anambra and enhancing the welfare of residents. He also urged citizens and stakeholders to support the governor’s programmes in order to achieve meaningful progress.

Obi Cubana further highlighted the importance of collaboration between government, the private sector and community leaders in driving development and promoting entrepreneurship across the state.

Observers say his remarks reflect growing interest from business leaders in governance and economic reforms at the sub-national level, particularly in states seeking to attract investment and stimulate innovation.

Governor Soludo’s second term is expected to focus on expanding economic reforms, strengthening security and improving service delivery as part of efforts to position Anambra as a competitive hub for commerce and industry.
