Senators, Reps To Share N104.7b As Christmas Gifts —Ude
A former presidential aide to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Publisher of Point Blank News, Mr. Jackson Ude, has revealed that Senators and Members of the House of Representatives will get a whoppingN104.7 billion to share as Christmas gifts.
Mr. Ude made the revelation on his “X” (formerly Twitter) handle, @jacksonpbn, on Monday.
Citing a source in the National Assembly, he stated: “Members of the National Assembly are to share N104.7 billion as Christmas gifts approved by the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio and Speaker Tajudeen Abbas.

“The fund was padded up into the 2023 Supplementary budget recently approved and signed.
“While each of the 109 Senators will cash out N300 million, the 360 House of Reps members will smile home with N200 million each.
“When the N104.7 billion was to be inserted into the supplementary budget, the Senate President warned the lawmakers to ensure it is not leaked to the media.”
