Rashford Eyes Barcelona Move, Keen to Play with Lamine Yamal

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has revealed his desire to join Spanish giants Barcelona, as speculation over his future continues to grow.

Rashford, who was frozen out by United’s current manager Ruben Amorim, was loaned to Aston Villa in January after falling out of favour at Old Trafford. With his long-term future at United in serious doubt, the England international is expected to make a permanent move this summer.

During an appearance on Spanish YouTube channel XBuyer, Rashford was asked whether he would like to play alongside Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal. He responded enthusiastically, saying:

> “Yeah, sure. Everybody in the world wants to play with the best. So hopefully, we’ll see…”

In addition to expressing his admiration for Yamal, Rashford also hinted at a potential shift in his playing style. The 26-year-old stated that he now feels more comfortable operating as a central striker.

> “For me, as I’ve got older, the Number 9 position is becoming more comfortable, more natural,” he said.

Rashford’s comments are likely to fuel speculation that a move to La Liga could be on the horizon as he looks to revive his career and compete at the highest level.
