Paris 2024 qualifier: Waldrum lauds ‘brave’ Super Falcons for securing Olympics ticket
Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has saluted his players after they earned a place at the 2024 Olympic Games.
The West Africans held the Banyana Banyana of South Africa to a 0-0 draw in the second leg of their final qualifying round fixture in Pretoria on Tuesday night.

Waldrum’s side secured their passage 1-0 on aggregate.
The American eulogised his players for putting up a good fight in the game.
“The team did everything we asked of them to get the result,” Waldrum said after the game.
“We knew South Africa will come at us, we respect them but this was our seventh or eighth clean sheet, we have been very good defensively
“With time and some proper work, we will also be better on the offensive side, which everyone is asking for.”
