Oyinlola: Nigerians Facing Renewed Agony, Not Renewed Hope Under Tinubu

Former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s administration, saying that Nigerians are experiencing “renewed agony” instead of the “Renewed Hope” promised during the 2023 election campaign.

Speaking on Frontline, a current affairs programme on Eagle 102.5 FM Ilese Ijebu, monitored in Abeokuta, Oyinlola said the country’s economic and security conditions have worsened significantly under the current leadership.

“When he was campaigning, he promised Renewed Hope. What we are seeing now is nothing short of bad governance. The economy is in terrible shape, and it’s affecting every Nigerian,” he stated.

The retired Army general, who served as Osun State governor from 2003 to 2010, listed poverty, insecurity, religious tensions, and the high cost of living as key concerns.
