Otti’s Camp Challenges Abure to Provide Evidence or Remain Silent

Ferdinand Ekeoma, spokesperson for Abia State Governor Alex Otti, has blamed Julius Abure, the suspended National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), for the ongoing internal crisis in the party.

Ekeoma accused Abure of betraying the party’s progressive ideals and compromising its integrity for personal gain.

He stated that concrete evidence of Abure’s alleged misconduct will be made public in due course.

Ekeoma criticized Abure’s leadership, noting the LP lacked basic structures in many states before Otti and others joined.

While admitting to financial and logistical support provided during the 2023 elections, Ekeoma clarified it was not bribery but necessary assistance.

Responding to Abure’s challenge for proof of wrongdoing, Ekeoma dismissed him as arrogant and out of touch.
