Otti Urges Focus on Progress, Not Opposition Distractions
Abia State Governor Alex Otti has urged residents of the state to remain focused on governance, development, and tangible progress, rather than being distracted by what he described as the “noise” from a minority in the opposition.
Speaking during a recent engagement in the state, Otti said his administration is committed to delivering people-centred governance and will not be sidetracked by political attacks or distractions aimed at undermining its reform agenda. He described the opposition as a “noisy minority” whose activities, according to him, have little impact on the real aspirations of Abians.
The governor stressed that his government’s priority remains economic recovery, infrastructural renewal, improved healthcare, quality education, and prudent management of public resources. He noted that measurable progress is already being recorded across key sectors, adding that such achievements speak louder than political rhetoric.
Otti called on the people of Abia to judge his administration by its performance rather than propaganda, assuring them that his government will continue to work transparently and responsibly in the interest of the state. He reaffirmed his resolve to complete ongoing projects and introduce policies that will positively affect the lives of citizens.
The governor also appealed for unity and patience, urging Abians to support his administration’s vision for a prosperous and well-governed state, while ignoring distractions that do not contribute to development.
