Osun Governorship Aspirant Applauds Tinubu’s Efforts in Niger Delta

An All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Osun State, Engr. Dideolu Falobi, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as “tangible achievements” in addressing long-standing challenges in the Niger Delta.
Falobi, a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and an advocate for sustainable development, made the commendation in a statement on Friday.
He noted that the President’s administration has recorded measurable progress in tackling insecurity, environmental degradation, political unrest, and declining oil production in the oil-rich region.
Citing recent developments, Falobi pointed to the crackdown on oil theft, the clean-up of Ogoniland, and the resolution of political tensions in Rivers State as key milestones that have helped restore confidence in the Niger Delta.
“The numbers now back the narrative: community-led security, targeted federal interventions, and renewed focus on environmental justice are restoring confidence in the Niger Delta,” Falobi said.
He added that persistent security patrols and improved inter-agency coordination are dismantling criminal networks in the area, while the government’s ongoing clean-up of polluted sites in Ogoniland represents a major step toward environmental recovery.
