Omoyele Sowore, Aloy Ejimakor, and Others Released from Kuje Prison
Activist Omoyele Sowore and Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have been released from Kuje Prison after meeting their bail conditions.
Also released on Monday was Prince Emmanuel, Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, along with others arrested during the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja.
The release comes after the detainees fulfilled all bail requirements, allowing them to regain their freedom while awaiting further court proceedings.
Supporters and family members have welcomed the release, calling it a relief for all involved.
