Okpebholo Pays Tribute to Late Former IGP Arase

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has mourned the passing of Dr. Solomon Ehigiator Arase, former Inspector-General of Police, who died over the weekend.
In a condolence statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, the governor described Arase as a patriotic Nigerian and a distinguished son of Edo State whose service to the nation will be remembered for generations.
Okpebholo praised the late police chief for his integrity, honour, and landmark contributions to national security, particularly in community policing and criminal justice reforms.
He added that Arase, Nigeria’s 18th Inspector-General of Police, was a man of professionalism and dedication who rose to the peak of his career through hard work and commitment.
