Okpebholo Boosts Edo Security With 10 Patrol Vehicles
Monday Okpebholo has strengthened security operations in Edo State with the donation of 10 new patrol vehicles to security agencies operating across Edo Central Senatorial District.
The governor said the move is part of his administration’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property, while reinforcing a zero-tolerance stance on crime and criminality in the state. He noted that improved logistics and mobility are critical to effective policing and rapid response to security threats.
According to Okpebholo, the patrol vehicles will enhance visibility, improve response time, and boost collaboration among security agencies, particularly in flashpoints across Edo Central. He reaffirmed that his government will continue to invest in security infrastructure and support security personnel to ensure peace and stability across the state.
Security officials and community leaders welcomed the initiative, describing it as a timely intervention that will strengthen crime prevention and reassure residents.
